Urging the Palestine as a focal point of the Muslim World Countries, a Member of the PUIC (Parliamentary Union of the Organization Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States) Executive Committee reiterated that divisiveness is a main factor of the weakness as well as separation among the Muslim World.
Mohammad Khouraichi Niass who has been recently assumed his responsibility as the PUIC Secretary General met Dr. Kazem Jalali Head of the Islamic Parliament Research Center (IPRC) as well as a Member of the PUIC Executive Committee on Sunday 5 August 2018.
Expressing his congratulation to him, Khouraichi Niass, on his assumption of the PUIC Secretary General, Iranian senior law-maker stressed on the reinforcement of the parliamentary ties of the Muslim Countries in bid to advance goals of the Islamic World.
Highlighting to boost unity as well as convergence among the Muslim World, He further stated that the Zionist Regime urges to distract the Muslims from Palestinian issue through regional terrorist criminalities.
Referring to the US’s withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as well as re-imposition of sanctions against Iran, a Member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy insisted on further strengthening cooperation among the Muslim World Countries in order to remove the current challenges including fighting terrorism.
The PUIC’s (new) Secretary General Mohammad Khouraichi Niass for his part, pointed to the impressive role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the advancement of the Union’s objectives.
He also underscored that the entire Muslim World should consider the issue of Palestine as a focal point.
PUIC Assistant Secretary General Ali Asghar Mohammadi Sirjani, was also attended the meeting.
