Iranian Supreme Leader:

The side with the right to set conditions for the continuation of JCPOA is Iran

If we wish to be logical and speak reasonably, it was the US and the three European countries that violated all of their JCPOA commitments. Therefore, they do not have the right to set terms and conditions for the JCPOA. They did not fulfill any of their JCPOA commitments. Only for a short period of time did they temporarily lift some, but not all sanctions. Later, they restored and even added more sanctions. They increased them by perhaps two or three times. Therefore, they do not have the right to set terms and conditions in this regard. The side with the right to set conditions for the continuation of the JCPOA deal is Iran. The reason is that Iran honored all its JCPOA commitments from the beginning. We have the right to set conditions for the continuation of the JCPOA. Recently, we set a condition and no one will go back on it. The condition is that if they want Iran to return to it. Recently, we set a condition and no one will go back on it. The condition is that if they want Iran to return to its JCPOA commitments- some of which have been stopped- the US must remove all sanctions, and not just in words and on paper. Rather, they must remove them in action. After that, we will check and verify if they have been truly removed. Then if they have been removed, we will return to our JCPOA commitments. This is the definitive policy of the Islamic Republic, and it has been agreed upon by all the officials of the country. Therefore, we will not turn back from this policy.
