The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the IPIRC and NARS will open a new horizon in the research cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, Hyun Wook Koh , Chief of NARS said on Sunday.

He made the remark in his address to the Joint Seminar of Research Cooperation between IPIRC and NARS held on Sunday June 22.
“This is the first joint meeting that NARS holds with a think-tank institute abroad and expect that the outcome of this session serves to the mutual interests of the two countries”, Hyun Wook Koh stated.
Referring to the importance of this joint meeting in introducing the parliamentary research centers in the parliament of the two countries, he said “Law-making is of great significance in the international arena. If we take law-making as a common objective, we can benefit from each other’s experiences”.

In conclusion he expressed the hope that the MOU signed between the two research centers can draw the roadmap for fruitful research cooperation.
