The First Session of Nuclear Working Group Was Held at IPIRC

This first meeting held under the auspices of the Islamic Parliament of Iran Research Center (IPIRC) examined various dimensions of Geneva Nuclear Deal from technical and expertise perspectives.

Chaired by Dr. J. Jahanguirzadeh, Acting Head of IPIRC, the meeting elaborately discussed various dimensions of Geneva accord, reservations of the negotiating parties (Islamic Republic of Iran and P5+1 Group) in the final round of talks towards achieving a comprehensive agreement. Security considerations on IAEA’s inspections and technical dimensions of re-designing Arak Reactor were also discussed.
Participants at the meeting were, M. Arani, MP and a member of the Parliament Standing Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy, H.Ba’eedinejad Foreign Ministry Director General for political and International Department, B. Kamalvandi Vice-President of Iran Atomic Energy Organization in charge of Strategic and Parliamentary Affairs, together with some other experts and officials from the IPIRC.
