Head of the Islamic Parliament Research Center (IPRC), Dr. Kazem Jalali is to attend the 5th international Seminar for Parliamentary Research Services at the head of a research delegation.
Jalali is attending this Seminar at the generous invitation of his counterpart, Dr. Hyun Wook KOH, Head of the National Assembly Research Service of the Republic of Korea (NARS).
This Seminar which is being held at the initiative of the NARS will be held from 20-22 Nov. 2014.
The theme of this year’s Seminar focuses on “Support for Lawmaking and the Role of Parliamentary Research Services.”
Dr. Jalali will address the meeting under the theme of “Better Lawmaking Process” and the role of IPRC in this respect.
Parliamentary Researches from Switzerland and USA are also among the Participants of this Seminar, who will have presentations on the “Legislative Impact Assessment”.
Head of the IPRC is expected to have some bilateral meetings with some political as well as parliamentary research officials of the host country on the sideline of the Seminar.
Established in 2007, NARS has launched widespread efforts to create a global parliamentary research network as a forum to enable parliamentary researches to share their views in support of parliamentary process in their national parliaments.
