MOU for Joint Cooperation between IPRC and AllamehTabataba'ee University inked

Head of the Islamic Parliament Research Center (IPRC), Kazem Jalali and Dr. Hossein Salimi, Chancellor of Allameh Tabataba'ee University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for joint cooperation on Monday (16 March).

The purpose of the agreement is to study and develop policies, programs and efficient measures aimed at helping solve internal and internal issues and promoting qualitative level of science and knowledge based activities.
At the signing ceremony, Head of the IPRC, Kazem Jalali stated "IPRC tasked to provide expert opinions to the members of Parliament and conduct parliamentary research studies seeks cooperation of universities and academic centers, adding that IPRC can serve as a linkage between such centers."
"Appropriate policymaking is the key element for good governance and preparation of substantive reports based on academic support can set the groundwork for better policymaking", Jalali underlined.
Head of the IPRC expressed hope that signing of this MOU paves the grounds for further cooperation between IPRC and Allameh Tabatab'ee University.
This MOU centers on such issues as training specialized experts and researchers, cooperation for development of applied educational and research activities across the country, holding seminars, joint scientific workshops, cooperation on research works, compilation and publication of books, and many other fields of cooperation.
